Monica Ciabattini

Monica Ciabattini is a painter, cartoonist and illustrator. Born in Rome where she lives and work, she graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. She taught drawing and art history at the Academy of Figurative arts and participated in artistic initiatives at nursey and primary schools “G.Mazzini”. Since 2011 she has dedicated herself to illustration, publishing children’s books and at the same time she begins to draw a series of humorous comics which she publishes on Instagram. In 2021 she published “Fred’s philosophy” and “Short stories about Count Orlok” for Sbamcomics in their magazine SBAM!
The following year she published, together with other cartoonists, BRAVI Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 with Festina Lente Edizioni.
In 2023 she published with Zen Comicart “Kentachi”. She currently collaborates with the ReWriters Magazine in the “Cartoon of the day” section.
